Following its successful launch in select global markets earlier this year, U.S. enthusiasts can now partake in the excitement as this special meal graces participating restaurants nationwide starting December 26, for a limited time and while supplies last.
Traditionally, Happy Meal enthusiasts have collected various toys over the years, but the opportunity to amass up to twelve Squishmallow characters with the purchase of a Happy Meal is a novel experience. The lineup includes beloved Squishmallow characters like Cam and Fifi, alongside iconic McDonaldland character Grimace, everyone’s purple companion. Adding to the thrill, a surprise mystery character awaits select fans as they unveil their Happy Meal toy.
Tariq Hassan, McDonald’s USA Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer, expressed enthusiasm about connecting fans to contemporary culture through this collaboration. To enhance the enjoyment, each character comes with a distinct playlist, courtesy of Universal Music Group—an unprecedented feature for Happy Meal toys. Families can scan the QR code on the Happy Meal box to access playlists tailored to each Squishmallow’s unique and entertaining personality.

As a founding member since 2006, McDonald’s voluntarily commits to these guidelines. The U.S. Happy Meal includes balanced choices like apple slices and reduced-sugar, low-fat chocolate milk.
